In the Vertical Menu you are able to use 2 type of badges for the menu items. You can find the details below:

You can use 2 type of badges next to the menu items. You can use them by Enable badges option. You can set the color and font settings for the Square badge and the Rounded badge as well. You can also define Border-radius for the rounded badge.

How to create your own badges?

As we mentioned above there 2 types:

Rounded badge

To have this type you need to place the following line into the suitable area (learn more below): (Yourbadge) , so you need to write your badge text between rounded brackets.

Square badge

This is quite similar, the only difference that you need to use square brackets: [Yourbadge] .

Currently the badges supported for the following menu-types:

• Joomla menus

  In this case you need to write the code of the badges in the Menu manager edit view, into the Note parameter.

• Joomla categories (and articles)

  In this case you need to write the code of the badges into the Note parameter of the editor view.

• Virtuemart

  With VM, you need to insert the badge codes into the category description parameter.
